For dogs, some in the pet industry believe CBD could help regulate seizures, ease joint pain and inflammation, and have a relaxing impact.

Nevertheless, according to Bullen (research scientist), very little study has been done on CBD and its entire impact on dogs, and any product that also contains THC, the psychoactive compound that gives you a high, as a byproduct could be hazardous to your pet. The FDA is also stating that it cannot draw the conclusion that CBD is generally accepted as safe for use in human or animal food given the absence of scientific evidence proving its safety in food according to FDA announcement in 2019 published on January 15, 2020.
